5 Handy Steps to Get the NETGEAR Router to Upstream

The Netgear router is mainly intended for both home and office users to perform a function named NAT (Network Address Translation), to share the single network connection, like DSL or cable, with many systems on the local network. However, for a system or other device attached to the router to broadcast data upstream, PAT (Port Address Translation), should be performed for different ports per program. You can set up individual PCs and applications to access upstream services via the Netgear router port forwarding feature.
Note: - If your Netgear router is having problems in connecting to the Internet, you can contact the Netgear customer service number to get help.

1.       Open the Internet browser and input the ‘192.168.1.1’ into the search bar. Click the ‘Enter’ button.
2.            Enter the ‘admin’ for the username and password. Click the ‘Enter,’ followed by the ‘Port Forwarding / Port Triggering’ option.
3.            Click the ‘Add Custom Service’ option. Input the application name. For instance, enter the ‘FTP Server.’
4.            Input the start and last ports. You can enter ‘20’ for the starting port and ‘21’ for the last port.
5.            Type the IP address of your particular system, and then click the ‘Apply’ button.
However, if you’re not able to use your router to the upstream or it’s having other kinds of technological and functional problems, you should take the experts help by calling on the Netgear router customer carenumber to solve out all issues and concerns in no time.
